A British motorcyclist sentenced to two years in prison for recording his rides
uch is the result of the arrest of the reckless motorcyclist by Sussex police. Upon arrest the police confiscated the tapes of the man’s ‘adventures’ on the road, which resulted in filing a case against him and sentencing the luckless rider to a two-year imprisonment.
How did it all work out? The police spotted the man riding at 130 km/h on a section ofroad with an 80 km/h speed limit. Another thing that attracted the police’s attention was when the owner of the powerful Honda Fireblade was riding only on its rear wheel.
After apprehending the rider, the squad recovered the memory card of the helmet-fixed camera with over 150 videos of the motorcyclist crudely violating traffic regulations. In some cases he dangerously entered the oncoming lane or drove at a speed of over 200 km/h.
After the trial, the reckless rider was sentenced to two years in prison and had a two-year driving ban imposed on him after his jail release. Moreover, to get his driving license back he’ll have to pass an extended exam.
